Finds are from the last 3 weekend hunts and a couple after work weekday hunts. All Finds were pulled from researched public city parks and school grounds with my XP Deus 2.
Most of the silver dimes and the Canadian half dime were pulled from North Dakota and All the big silver was pulled from Minnesota.
I worked on refining my nickel bin since my first post and I was able to start isolating some deep nickel targets. Coin depth ranges in this post were about 6-12 inches.
The half dollar wasn't very deep (about 6 inches) but was surrounded by iron and junk. A few of the dimes were on edge.
The Canadian half dime was pulled on Saturday. It was nice to see one of these as they don't come up often. It was an 84 signal about 8 inches deep similar to how an Indian head penny would read.
I believe that old lead printing plate to be a 'Deering' binder or reaper advertising plate. McCormick merged with Deering in 1902 so this would have to be pre-1902.
It was pulled from a railroad park and was about a foot deep. I reversed the orientation and image so it is a little easier to see.
The badly fire damaged melted coin was pulled at a turn of the century school yesterday. I ground off a little of the back and it appears to be an old silver quarter and was at least 9 inches deep.
Thanks for looking!
Dave
