I might try full tones now i have got version v1.0 . I could make no sense of it before the update and the old version seemed to lack any real depth from what few tests i did .I am sure people will be finding more
It takes a little getting used to but you will understand. A nice fellow just don’t know why he made two of basically the same videos but one is very bias towards the legend.I just wish I could understand what is being said through the accent
I think the guy history revisited , has only got 2 years detecting experience if i am right. Air tests are 100% worthless. A detector i had would detect a large coin in air at 18 inches , i placed the exact same coinIt takes a little getting used to but you will understand. A nice fellow just don’t know why he made two of basically the same videos but one is very bias towards the legend.
The other video is under “ the truth about Deus2” in the “metal detecting” forum
I just never got i to all the air test videos as they are not real world results or hunting.
Nobody hovers over a spot for five minutes every time they get a hit and goes through and changes the settings to whatever works best for one because you don’t know what is in the ground in real world situations.
Every detector will react differently depending on the soil conditions and settings. No one detector will outperform all others in every soil with one particular setting. the same detector won’t even find stuff the same way every time everywhere. Too many variables.
Sometimes one will find things the other doesn’t and vis versa
Air test is just a baseline in theory. Just like fishing in theory you put bait on the hook of a fishing pole throw it in the water and you will catch a fish every time
That's what i think when listening to some new yorkers talking , think i can understand half of what they say. Some people in london call an house an ass lol.I just wish I could understand what is being said through the accent
I like the fact you can switch to a single easy from multi drop down to 14 24 or 40I don’t use fulltones, actually only 2 or 3 tones is good for me. so i might just stick with v7.1
The only thing about the new update that intrigues me is the frequency limit feature but I don’t know how the change effects depth.
It’s mainly for coin hunting as I understand and i don’t coin hunt either as there are no coins other than clad in my area. My area was mainly undeveloped and just swamp and forest until mid 1900’s
All its doing is just capping it at a high frequency you choose but still does multi correct ? Has nothing to do with just using single a frequency programI like the fact you can switch to a single easy from multi drop down to 14 24 or 40
Apparently you choose them to only max out even lower either 20 or 15 from what I gatherP5 P6 P9 are the only 3 inland programs that DONT max out at 40 on v0.71 according to the manual so what's the deal?
That makes more sense than the video I've just watched.Apparently you choose them to only max out even lower either 20 or 15 from what I gather
What video? That makes more sense than the video I've just watched.

Yes but multi has its benefits otherwise just get a vlf machine or a deus I, orx.you can use a single frequency program
Yes like silver coin CD showed how 14khz is greatYes but multi has its benefits otherwise just get a vlf machine or a deus I, orx.
My point was that for me anyways didn’t necessarily need really high frequency like 40 or 20 khz.
Having say 4,10,15 khz would work better in some conditions and hunting and I believe thats the whole point of the new feature.
Choosing the frequencies in multi is a cool feature i think. Everyone else that runs multi they don’t disclose all the frequencies for one and you have to use all the ones they choose. This is just more customization which is always good. I wish they took it a step further and actually let us choose multi on the low end 4,10,15 and on the high end 15,20,40
