Big copper, silver ring

went on a night hunt, not too far from home...been skunked the last few times out. tonight I hit a homerun! got a solid 12-46 on the E-trac...down about 6" was this large cent..and not 4" away reading a 12-48 was this silver ring

IT is marked sterling real small on the inside of the band...no other markings. it was only 4" away from the LC, but that might just be coincidence
