Well, my concerns about the natural ability of a bfo to discriminate small nails,paper clips, etc. interfering with the detection of small gold have been reduced. Found these small items as well as a large nail, tin key and "sherriffs" badge, and several large nuts and bolts-coins not pictured. I still have confidence that if the gold's there I'll find it! Keeping posted.
