Best coinhunter in trashy areas.

but the Tesoro 7" concentric coil on the Bandido II

Monte:

You never met a detector you didn't like. Hehehe... I thought your favorite was the Eldorado..

Thanks for your explanation...I never had the opportunity to use the Tesoro 7" coil. I believe the Super 7" acts more like an 8" coil because of the unusual windings?!

There are many good detectors out there but I've decided to stick with the very light ones since I felt a *twitch* in my elbow while swinging an Explorer...

My favorite is a detector which can neat most in target separation, depth, sensitivity to gold, and salt water beach performance. Unfortunately, it is no longer in production because of the high manufacturing costs.

HI Monte,

this is Rick in Ca. I just found this site. I wondered why you don't
post on the tesoro site any more.. anyway, what happened to the newer
bandido 11 umax I traded you for the eldarado that you thought
was a better detector than the bandido. now you say you need a bandido
cause its your favorite. your making me want my bandido back, and now
you say you don't have it anymore!and do you still have the toltec we
traded? then I buy the Cortes from you, and you post that you say that it
has some pretty bad flaws. BOY did I get a bum deal or what?,.......
HEY MONTE.. I'M JUST KIDDING...I really love my Cortes and the cleen sweep
coil. And I don't use the eldoado that much, but when I do, I really like
the way it handles, but I think you are right, I think the bandido 11 umax
is a little better machine. trade me back.hahahahaha
you can email me back if you want. Rick,Ca.

mmm....I would be wary of the button / coin on top of the iron trick.

It has been used many times by unscrupulous dealers etc..(or from ignorance) over the years to suggest that a particular machine can find the coin while discriminating out the iron, when in fact all you are doing is increasing the mass / density of the iron to above the set disc level.
Try it with the machines you are using.
