Belt scoop holder

New member
Gonna try to make a couple of scoop holders, got enough parts to get me started, I think I saw Max make a few out of parts and I'm tired of carrying that scoop around.

tim still drags his, i have gone from dragging to kinda toteing like in a sling like.

i have made the hook part bigger and the scoop just rest in the loop.

here are many many pics...............some are the old style and some are the new................just for your reference or anyone else. both ways work good. pictures are in no order, just random. one is the original ......made from hammer holder

I do not understand why everyone has problems with scoop holder's. The only thing you need is to go to Lowes and get a cordless drill holder. Five dollars and your done.

Thanks for photos Max, gettin older, easier to carry on the waist, Rockin you are probably right but some of us just have to play with our tools and build stuff, scoops, shafts, baskets, modifications etc. If I can build it to the way I want it and to what my water conditions are I like to try it, Then we get to share it with the rest of you.

we found that they would turn our pants gray where they rubbed on them............that is why we made them larger, so the scoop would only rub on the plastic part

put some rtv over threads.............they will eat your fingers alive...........maybe

i like it

I know what you mean. I work in a small welding and machine shop and get to build most of the things I need. We have a saying at the shop, why buy it for five dollars when I can build it for fifty.

SS dog snap clip to belt and drag scoop behind you..also add 1" strip of aluminum to the side of scoop so it wont ware through dragging it on sand.i can ware out a new scoop in 4 month without these strip's
