Been using my Silver Sabre micro max

Nice looking SS Micro Max you have listed Bryan. I really like mine but I'm surprised they are selling for that much. I thought brand new mine sold for $300.

They probably did back when they sold the Sabre model, but they don't sell them anymore.
The Sold listings on eBay were from as low as $220 plus shipping to as high as $269 plus shipping.
I thought $250 with me paying the shipping was fair considering the condition of my detector.
 
Great finds by the way! All are truly great finds.
I have never found a silver half dollar or a gold ring.
I didn't intend to hijack your thread but it looks like I did.
 
Did you ever remove the coil cover and clean?
I have had the same problem several time in wet grass and under the coil cover will be fine black sand or other contaminates that when wet will make machine chatter.
