This is the sequel to Post #6. Pic 1 is from another week of after work hunts while out of town. I remember the ground being like concrete here: Ulyssus S. Grant token, 1929D Merc, another Merry Widows container, I don't know whether the swastika lid is for good luck or Nazi. Pic 2 is from my reliable old trash site. The buttons and marbles always appear after a rain: 1909 V nickel, 1913D wheat, Hewy, Lewy, or Dewy's head, a Sterling flat button above the 1957 dog license, lots of steel-back buttons, an Indian that lost his horse, and I think the die is pretty old. Pic 3 is from a street tear-out. All the big silver was thrown out of the street with some dirt they dug out: 1943 Half, 1954 and 1934D Quarters. Sterling ID bracelet, Sterling Lieutenant collar pin, a Hexaphone token, a fancy silver button, lots of other tokens, and an Indian Head penny made into a button or ring, could go either way. The next post will show the larger finds from this same area. This gets me to April 2022.
