Beaches in Florida

Prophet

New member
Was wondering which beaches had the best potential? Preferrably around the Orlando, Tampa, Daytona areas.
Thanks

Around Tampa, Clearwater beach is a good choice. Around Orlando I like Cocoa beach , Daytona Beach and New Symrna Beach.. Be careful especially at New Smyrna --- sharks. I'm sure others will chime in on their favorites Greg
Also Siesta Key in Sarasota is nice and plenty of free parking. Sarasota is about 1 hour South of Tampa

Only got to go one day and that was at Cocoa Beach, a couple of others had already beat me there, as I saw them looking around before I could get unloaded, and decided to just leave everything in the van so not to 'invade'. But still found a lot of shells with my girls and had a blast at the beach!

Glad to hear you enjoyed, were you on vacation?.....Joe

Don't worry about others being at the beach. The beach is big enough to handle all of you and even more. And no one can hit every square inch of beach anyway. If you plan on going to the beach to hunt....go for it. Don't let someone being there stop you. It is after all a public beach. Just don't detect right on top of others.

There are many people detecting most decent Florida beaches Steve from Ohio is right.
Nobody can get it all. I hoped you enjoyed your vacation.
