You know I am serious and I get out plenty ,I don't care were anyone goes because ,I know how good I am,I don,t have to make videos about stuff it takes 30 years to learn to feel good about myself.Good luck with ur movies,I prefer to help people one on one.Your and you followers have yet contributed another source of wrecking this hobby.Only my opinion, but I'll be watchin guys like you.

Geez Bob....you sure are nasty when it comes to folks that you don't even know.....have you considered a high colonic?.....it might help clear your head.....Wrecking the hobby?....really??.....Followers???......does that make me a "cult leader" of sorts?? Cmon Bob.....you have a blockage somewhere....you definitely need to clean up something....hey I know.....why don't you start with your attitude.....Hope this helps you my puckered up little friend

Surfdigger, Thanks for the many videos you have posted, you have helped me with them to detect the beaches. I will give you some slack for forgetting to cover a hole or two on the beach. Good Hunting, Don

DFX......you are the second person on here that has accused me of not filling some of my holes.....that's pretty funny when I am considered the hole filling nazi on our local beaches....I have confronted more than my share of offenders over the years there....I guess in my videos....you think that I am leaving them unfilled because of all the loose sand left around the hole after it has been filled by me....Unlike hunting a park or schoolyard....on the beach we strive to fill holes in and not neccesarily leave the area looking like we were never there after the recovery....trust me when I say that every one of those holes are filled just not neatly groomed after each fill.....Your response definitely gave me a chuckle....and thanks again for the kind words....Brian

Brian, I always look for your videos, I have learned some very valuable tips from them. I believe through your videos and a few others I can say I have at least 10 more gold rings than I would have if I hadn't viewed them.
Why would we not want to make the sport easier for our fellow hunters, there are more rings and coins than we can imagine waiting to be found!!!!!!!!!

Thinking of testing the water at Ocean City Maryland one of these weekends. Will be in Maryland and D.C. area for another 6 weeks or so. Any advice on the Ocean City area. Never been there. Still looking for someone to show me around the D.C. , Maryland area. Some of the parks in this area I have been warned by the park police that they are unsafe.

Headed to Oc, sat..19th for the day to test a few things, .....negative tides that weekend....can meet you there. PM if want............Not much there this time of year, have to jump every 10 blocks to look for the right spots..went down in jan for the day, found 1 silver and a couple junkers..If I was retired I would take you on the tour, 27 months, N counting

Thanks for the offer Oldbeechnut. My son is giong to be visiting that weekend so I won't be able to make it. Let me know how you make out and check my posting on the DFX forum on the last couple weeks finds. Been hitting the local parks. I actually have found a live 9mm round under a swingset. Dangerous area. I have left some areas that I was feeling uneasy. Keep in touch.

Come on guys/gals its a HOBBIE, Not to see who gets more or less loot we all should be having fun its not like working(all thou it is work)
as for the videos there great to watch for all of us both old and new,I've been detecting over 40 years and i still get something out of them
and as for the people who don't like them don't watch them its as simple as that,This fourm was put here so people could talk about beach detecting/diving and to maybe learn a little bit or maybe a lot depending on how new you are to the HOBBIE!!!
I have taught people how to detect and have been taught a thing or two thru the years by older people and younger too . just remember what it was like when you started and how hard it was to learn without any help and how easy it was when someone helped you(told you where the old beach was or pier?maybe just showed you how to supertune your detector??I read and post both pics and writen and hope people enjoy it,
I also know you can get booted off the site for fighting with others about this or that please keep the name calling/fighting out of this fourm if you want to grip about somthing theres another fourm on here for that enough said thankyou

I cant believe that one of my first posts has created this much controversy. This is a hobby that none of us are making a living doing. I have been detecting for over 25 years and have display cases of finds. There is plenty of treasure for everyone. I would always welcome tips and pointers from anyone. I like reading the posts from others and I am still learning. Retirement isnt that far away and I will be doing a lot more traveling soon. Looking forward to detecting with some of you in the future. Boston Bob, I only live a few hours from you near Albany, N.Y. How is the detecting at Cape Cod in the summer.
