beach cleaning machine

The rotating tines machine isn't really a threat, but that conveyor one is down right scarry. It won't mis targets and if run regularly, nothing will have a chance to get burried deep. Your only hope is to get in before it, and pray that machine is incredibly expensive.

They run every day in season here, luckily its comming to an end, but so are the bathers holidays :rage:

The machines I see being used on the east coast here in the states are Barber surf rakes. They have tines that rake the sand, but if you check after they come through they only rake about 3-4 inches down. They also don't work on wet sand areas, so if you stay near the water you should have no trouble. I think they are good for cleaning light junk such as paper, foil and other trash but I don't think they will pick up coins or rings.I have detected behind them and have still found plenty of stuff.

I think that the guy that drives the one in my area may in secret be the Devil himself. One, he always drives the blanket line first....two, sometimes I think he aims for me as I am working the the dry/wet. I have had to get out of the way for him a couple of times. I can only see his head through the window, but Im betting he has goat legs underneath.

LOL!
