BDA Beach Cam

Actually, we don't have an official beachcam in Bermuda but this is what it looked like outside my back door this morning, I'm on the leeshore of this storm so the other side of the island will be getting much stronger winds and waves.

We've been getting pounded by winter gales this week which is good for stirring up the loot but it also led to the airport being shut down and the causeway which links the two major islands of Bermuda together was also closed for a day this week. The pics above are what it looked like at high tide this morning, during a lull in the storm, basically as calm as it is going to get this weekend. The next storm hits Bermuda in 4 hours so it should be nice and turbulent down at the beach, hopefully the surf will manage to pry Davey Jones' Locker open some more.

Cheers,

BDA:cool:

Nice pics BDA! I'd love to see those whitecaps at my beaches! HH!

Oddly enough I have always been a sleepwalker. Apparently, I have done some very weird things in my sleep. Once, when I was dating my now-wife, she heard the patio door open and went to investigate. She found me naked as a jaybird in the backyard, sound asleep and relieving myself in the bushes.:yikes: The dog was doing the same thing a few feet from me, so she surmised that I had let the dog out for a pee and taken a queue to relieve myself as well. This was about 6 am in the morning, so hopefully the neighbours didn't take offence.
Susan was eventually able to get both myself and the dog back into the house, whereupon I went right back to bed and continued catching ZZZZZZ's. I've walked up and down stairs without problems while asleep but I have to admit that the first step in my backyard is a killer.:lmfao:

Lovely backyard B! Paradise. LOL...I have been a sleepwalker since I was young. When I was 15 I sleepwalked into the kitchen in the middle of the night and went so far as to make myself an omlete and then went into the bathroom and got into the tub to continue my sleeping and left the stove on. My parents woke to the sound of the fire alarm. Scared me and them. My mom still gives me crap about it to this day. Thankfully I dont do so much walking as talking now in my sleep.
