They should have included it, end of story. If we are buying Minelab's, we aren't poor and could somehow scrape together the extra money it would have cost to include one. Without a charger you have no detector. Very shortsighted of Minelab. Yes, before you say it again, we all have tons of them lying around the house. Now, everyone go get your magnifying glass to check if it is certified, and rated properly. If the official charger was available when the detector came out maybe I could understand not including one, but unfortunately it isn't.

Guys, if the whole World had the same voltage and used the same receptacle, then I am sure Minelab would have included a charger. But that’s not the case, so Minelab would of had to include something like this:

Yet somehow they figured it out for the past 20 years or so. I suppose including it might be asking a lot from a company that can barely get the detector delivered or accessories available.
In the end it's no more than a minor nuisance that can be easily overcome.

I get what you are saying. It is just a minor nuisance for most. A non issue for others... I'm just surprised at how big an issue this is for some, though. Oh well, it is what it is.
