Battery and Screen for XP Deus

I recently spoke to someone there, if you had your machine longer than 2 years expect to pay $50 for a battery changed.
I asked him i thought it had a 5 year warranty on it he said yea but not the battery, That's funny as my battery in my 11" Lf coil is going on 3 years
with no problem's but my 9" is getting weak. But hey the $50 charge ain't bad.
 
Howdy... please let me know how u make out on the remote battery replacement... would be curious how long it takes... knowing it can vary of course, as my remote is no longer carrying the charge as long as it used to. Lol

Also, I tried to see if I could find just the battery for same - would have let you know... but, have not found it yet... has anyone replaced theirs on their own?

My screen got replaced real fast from them but I only live one State away.
I use to go there in person to look at the metal detectors some of the nicest people you could ever meet.

You can do the remote yourself
