thanks. I most always to pre-hunt research and plan my route out for the day so I make the most of my time.

yes, I really like old school sites. I feel the same way about challenging myself to hit a deep old target. Even just one good old target can make for a fun day and lead to something else.
That D2 is quite a machine. I am glad Elmy convinced me to get one and try it.

Nice finds Dave and I have my remote tied to the shaft with the lanyard that comes with it I drilled a tiny hole in the plastic
where the top clamp is to attach the lanyard just in case.
Its great to hit a old school and find some silver I look at it as a challenge work the edges the woods around them especially with D2 and the 9"

Hey Chris,
Ground still diggable. XP2 probably part of it. Probably got at least a couple more than I would have pulled with Etrac. That detector is excellent for deep targets on edge.

Great finds. I have dug a few of those old cars and discovered they have replacement wheels and axles on the internet. I cleaned them up with a dremel tool, repainted them and they look great.
