Been to the old Yuba School house a few times in the past. I know it has been hammered hard in the past. But the Nox 600 keeps pulling the coins. I have found about 12 Wheaties in the past. This time around I pulled a 1930 Merc, 1887 or 1897 IHP, 1919 Wheatie, 1929 Wheatie, and a 1944 Wheatie. As well as 4 old beer cans and the usual trash. And for the love of God could someone tell me what this thing is??? I have dug quite a few of them.and a cool rock I liked lol

It is a wind reed out of a pump organ, very popular for music classes in old schools. Look closely at the base it will have the key stamped into it.

Steve, since you are hot on IH cents, I’ve seen them ID as low as 16. Just an FYI and you may uncover even more at the lower ID’s. Hope you can get back soon and hammer that place!

First I’ve heard of an IH reading 22.
The ones I have found read like a zinc, but I got one that read a solid 16.

Actually the last three IHP's I found all rang in at 22. 15-19 are always pull tabs and junk.
