Back to the 6000DI PRO XL

I can’t help myself. I spot a nice old White’s detector and I have to take it home. I’m pretty happy with this one but I am in need of a reasonably priced 5.3 BlackMax,BlueMax coil to go with the 11” HotHead that it came with.Thanks Y’all!

I also have a 5900, Eagle 11 Sl, Classic 5 ID, I love all the Whites detectors, just can't bring myself to get rid of them. I also have a Fisher CZ7, a Garretts ADS 7, two MXTs. I just have to many.

I have a soft spot for these Whites models - have the 5900 and 6000. Both are in excellent condition and work great. I know if I run across a cheap one working or not I would buy it.

Hey david bull, your 6000 di pro from what I see, looks like a long black stretch limo, Ha. All kidding aside, probably one of the best designs next to the XL Pro that White's ever came up with. I don't have a extra 5.3 but I have a new coil cover BM 950 thin profile for sale which will fit the blue/black max coil.

The only 6.59 frequency coil that I have is the “Hothead”.In the past I have had pretty near every coil made for these detectors…

I too have the 11 inch hothead coil, black max 950 and the eclipse one. So I'm all set!

I loved the analog detectors from White's. I could always tell what was under the coil by the way the needle moved. I couldn't explain it but it pretty much always worked for me.

I love how the needle would kind of hang on a deep or on edge coin…

Hot Dawg.... Another Kelly Co 6000/Di PRO sl.... They never seem to put the stickers in the same place... Mine originally came with a Blue Max 800... and I just couldn't get it to work right... Monte's Son sold me the Black Max 950 that's still on it to this day.... Once I got Pin Pointing figured out.... I can put a Roosevelt dime in the dead center of that donutt every time.... Iv'e had a couple of Those hot head coils in the past... They never seem to work as well as a stock 950 for me.... As you can see in the pictures... This is absolutely Not one of my Go To detectors at all....
