Well I just got another Deus with the X-35 coil picking it up Friday I have my Nox also so it will be good to hit spots with both again and have a backup incase my nox goes down!

So you prefer the Nox over the Deus? I had the opposite experience...

They both have they’re place but overall the nox definitely for me has the edge it’s waterproof and better in the saltwater I know as I’ve tested both so I use the nox for beach and water detecting 100% of the time ...

Makes sense!

I’ve never used the 35 coil so I’m interested in how well it responds I’ll try it out along with my Nox on some buried targets I had the older LF coil made some real nice finds with it ..

Wish I bought a Deus years ago. Got an Orx ,but now also have a Deus Lite. I also think it’s a good complimentary detector to the equinox.

They are excellent together

I hunt the Deus and the Equinox all the time and always carry both with me to the hunt sites.

I lean towards the Deus on sites that have intense iron and if a site were to have modern trash mixed in I would favor the Nox. If you were going to the beach then the Nox is by far the machine to have in your hands of the two. Other than these listed reasons the two machines are very close in performance . I don't see that one is deeper than the other. Both of these machines are very fast compared to other machines that are in common use right now. Speed is very important. It doesn't matter if you're at an old cellar hole or a local park. The ability to deal with adjacent targets is one of the keys to success and that is accomplished with Recovery or Reactivity speed. You will put more targets in your pouch with a modern machine. Get out there

Nice to have you back Mark. I would do the EQ but already have a CTX for short water and beach hunts. I traded in the LFs the the x35 and love it. I believe a multi and a SMF together are the best. I prefer x35 for really trashy sites. If I'm looking for jewelry, like to set kfz around 28. Still get really decent depth for high conductivity coin while great on gold.

Nice thanks my old Deus had the 9" LF coil and I made some killer finds with it now I'll have the X35 what frequency do you like for general hunting? I'm a coin jewelry hunter mostly lol..

Nice, I sure wish I had another. I must have had 4 or 5 of them and just about all coils. The Deus is my favorite machine.
Been considering looking to trade my Nox for a Deus.
Hope you have an awesome year with it!!

I rarely use my Nox. Don't get me wrong it's a great machine but I have been putting so much time into my Anfibio that I prefer it over the other machines I have.
I am waiting for the new Multi-frequency machine from Nokta. I hope it will be a Nox killer.
I figure it's like Calabash says... the more competition there is for a better machine, the better they will get.

Yep the machine is part of it it’s the user that determines how well it works and finds time in the field and persistence pays off...

Do around 28. I have a really nice program for jewelry on 28 but still good for coins If possible sensitivity-reactivity 1 and 0 for some extra depth. If trash too bad 2.5 and 1. IF you run above 28 start to lose depth on coins. I've only been able to p/u thin small chains at 70 kfz with the elipical coil. I've heard the EQ is a little better on these. If I only want to coin hunt will do 8.
