Yeah Garrett knew what they were doing. It wasn't by happenstance that the Standard Mode was included. It serves a purpose and one is getting two detectors for the price of one. Who else offers a deal like that? This will do away with the troublesome decision of whether to start out with an entry level detector or go for a higher end machine. The PRO solves that problem.
