AT Pro outdone again by Teroso Silver Umax:cry:

The uppermost discrimination block is notorious for sounding off on large, or concentrated, iron. This is especially so at higher SENS levels.
It seems counter intuitive to turn it off, but it helps.

The Garretts also have a definite language all their own and it takes some time to learn them. They do not respond like other detectors, in my experience.

All of my other Garretts will display 99 or 100 even on analogue meters for items that the software could not identify. Anything that would cause a large phase shift out of the limits of the software. I don't know about the At Pro since it has more provisions on dealing with iron and does not behave like most detectors when you set discrimination. Anything on the lower end can be listened to with the Iron Audio turned on. I have yet to see a 98 or 99 reading on mine but then I have only run a half dozen sets of batteries through it so I am still learning.
