AT Pro International Falsing?

I have been reading in this forum about the falsing issue with the AT Pro. I have an AT Pro International which has been sitting in the cupboard for a couple of months now and because there is 2 feet of snow in my yard and another 2 inches last night, I haven't been able to check it properly and was wondering if there was a similar problem with the International as there is with the U.S. model. Come on spring...

Old Crusty I have the International AT and had that problem.
Went out with it and tried it out when we had a warm spell and it goes deep but was falsing when rapid movement or touching objects. I had turned the sens to 6 and more
Sent it in hope to get it back this week.

Joel I suspect mine is much the same. Turn it on in the house and lots of noise out of it. Did u contact Garrett before sending it off? I don't mind paying for shipping but with my luck I will get stuck paying duty on its return. Once the 2 feet of snow are gone from my yard, I have a place to test that I know there is nothing metalic so will see what it does.

Kris;
I tried mine in the house which really is a no no
Went outside in the back yard and was a little better, but power electrical line above will not help.
Went out open field no wires or habitation around and tried it again could still not get to stop with the sens up
and slight bumps of objects like frozen grass and hard snow.
I would advise you to try it away from any habitation or man made obsrtuction ( electrical )
and if it still does it should send it to get checked.
Get away from inside the house to much interference in that location.
Joel

Did you send it to Germany or? Do you have the address? I suppose you have to pay postage yourself. How much was it? I think I have the same problem in mine AT PRO too.
