At Pro falsing

Hey Oak: My wife and her sister used to have a place on Vero Beach and I found some nice 1715 Plate Fleet stuff there. I wish she still had the place and I could look for more. :detecting:

Bernie,
If I had a dollar for every company that never called me back the same day that I put a call into them , I would be buying a new AT Pro and sending it to you !!........Seriously , I'm sure that Garrett will take care of you .....Put in another call tomorrow !!...... Jim

I guess I will try again... Today is the second day with no return call since I left the message. Maybe I am just too picky, but I find that totally unacceptable. :veryangry:

Bernie, ask for Mayra Tramel when you call Garrett, she is great, I had to send my machine back twice. They got it right this time!

I'm looking foward to adding one to my detector arsonal this week but wasn't the reason that the original release date was delayed was because they wanted to make sure they got the bugs out? I'm sure that someone within Garrett is catching hell. At least they get them repaired and returned quickly. You can't beat good support.

Garrett does have good customer service. In a perfect world they should call you back the same day. I had to send my AT in for repair. It actually only acted up when hunting in the woods. It seemed fine hunting schools and parks. So to say your dealer should be able to take it out of the box and show you if it's good or bad would be hard to do I think. If you have any problwm getting Garrett to call you let me know. I know someone there who can help you.

I'm sorry but I don't follow you ? ..... I know if I were a dealer , and I was aware that there were issues with certain detectors , I would check each one of them out before I sent them .... To me that comes as part of the territory if you want to be considered a GOOD dealer ....If you are a large volume dealer , then I'm sure that there are stock boys or girls that can be taught to check each machine out with a little guidance too !!.... If the manufacturer continued to send me flakey machines, that would be one less brand of detector that I carried .... SOMEBODY has to have some credibility in ths hobbie !!....Jim

Jim - Having the dealers assemble them to check would be a great idea, but after puting mine together last night, I wouldn't want that job - ha ha. Once an issue has been acknowleged however, it would be the right thing to do.
