Just got back from a trip to Tasmania yesterday. on the 23rd of Dec, We walked around Dove lake (a crater lake within Cradle mountain). It was a 50kph wind with sleet, sometimes the sleet got fluffy while yours truly was wearing T shirt, shorts and a gortex jacket. (I did have a jumper on, but the eldest decided he thought it would be clever to leave his jumper behind). Almost a white Christmas (in the middle of summer)!
