Headed out today for a nice warm balmy +2C celsius temperature hunt on another snow hill. My machine started acting quite erratic, so I tried a different frequency and turned down the sensitivity down to 2 bars for good stability. It really fixed the problem well. Go figure, at the bottom of the hill was a transformer box and it looked like underground wiring going up the hill.

(it's still coming, but not today :))

Like those loonies and toonies

Man! That must be HOT John!!!.:devil:Just got back from a trip to Tasmania yesterday. on the 23rd of Dec, We walked around Dove lake (a crater lake within Cradle mountain). It was a 50kph wind with sleet, sometimes the sleet got fluffy while yours truly was wearing T shirt, shorts and a gortex jacket. (I did have a jumper on, but the eldest decided he thought it would be clever to leave his jumper behind). Almost a white Christmas (in the middle of summer)!
Mick Evans.
