AT Pro Coil not detecting

Dear detectors,
Can someone please shed a light on why the coil is not detecting anything? New batteries, control panels works fine and makes sounds when changing settings, get a sound when connecting the coil cable but testing the detector with car keys, golden ring etc I get no signal whatsoever. It worked before, doesn't now. What could be wrong? Thank you

Try factory reset. Power it on and then press and hold power button down until it double beeps.

Check inside the coil cover .. Se if you can find a friend with a AT .. Pro Max Gold and try there coil .. Is this with or without headphones

Hello detectorist. Thank you for your reply. I took the coil cover of to find a little bit of sand. When I tap on the coil, or anywhere else on the tool, it beeps. But still nothing when moving my golden ring passed the coil. This is with and without a headset. I suspect a loose contact somewhere, maybe it happened while sending it from overseas.

Did you try A different coil ? I have a friend that his detectcs for maybe 5 minutes when it is turned on. After th8at the machine stays on but quits detecting. He has tried different coils and gets the same results. He is going to send it in after the holidays
