AT Pro Coil Connection Is it really that hard to do?

I have not had much time to do much with the At Pro since I received it a few days ago and I am having some surgery in the morning so the At Pro is on hold for the moment. However, I did assemble and test it a little and did not find either connector all that difficult. It is somewhat of a non-issue with me.

Jerry

Good luck with your surgery Jerry. I am 3 weeks post op and one of the reasons I am having such a great recovery is my "WANT" to get out and play with my AT Pro. I don't know what kind of surgery you are having, but make sure you ask your surgeon if you can metal detect. The AT Pro only ways 3.03 LBS.

Thanks John. I am having a huge hernia repaired. They are installing the mesh this time.

Yeah and Uncle Willy made a post ( and a few more ) that probably sold several thousand At's. How many have you peddled? My connectors were still a bear to hook up regardless of how easy someone else's was. Just the way it is when products come off an assembly line.

Bill

Quite a few actually...and I get paid for them! Lastest one is going to the UK!

Not offence intended Bill...I changed that post due to you might not take it well, but it got caught anyway.

Kinda funny really, people cancel their order because of "the connector is too hard to put on" HAHAHAH Now its just getting ridiculous...:yikes:

Alan

Yeah ain't that the truth bud. If they were going to cancell over something that trivial they were going to cancell anyway. I don't think a couple of random cancellations is going to put Charles Garrett in the poor house. HAA. People were cancelling when they thought it wasn't waterproof enough or wouldn't perform in saltwater.

there is a water proof seal inside the connector so they will be some harder to hook up compared to the standard connectors, put a little silicone grease on the male end will help alot even a very little bit on the threads will help.

I ran the coax straight up the shaft leaving a little slack at each end that way I can take it apart and put it in my motorcycle trunk and go hunting without disconnecting the cable.
