Hi El
Retired from the bus company as a bus driver for the city in 2000. Last job was driving a van for patients from their home to hospital and back to their home. Did that for 6 years. The company I worked for lost the contract so retired again.
I like detecting and finding stuff. I guess it is the hunt that counts most for me.:detecting:... Jerry/Z

Glad your enjoying detecting and like the Safari.............

Having fun is what it's all about brother.

What machines are you using now?

I'm curious to know how the Safari is panning out for you if you're still using it.

Those old watches are always cool to find. Been a looong time since I found one.

Take care

But these were found with different detectors.I used a buddies and tried some new machines for a week or so..Just wanted to see how some were in the field.

Hi El
I almost have the feeling your feeling guilty for not keeping the Safari or ????. I went through the same thing with the F70 and then the F5 and a few other detectors that people just loved. They just didn't fit. Not saying they were bad but just didn't want to spend the time to get used to using them. Just wanted to move to something else. If I am wrong sorry, if not get back to the old El. The winner that you are. Your friend....Jerry

The MInelab Quattro did ok too.....A little awkward for my tastes but worked well in trash. Picked a lot of dimes up with it...mixed in with tons of pull tabs. Separation was good. My friend has used the Quattro for a few years and is deadly with it..

I didn't get to use an F75 Fisher..it would have worked awesome in the areas I hunted...I tried a Tesoro too..and honestly I dug a lot of junk targets..couldn't keep it from the deep pull tabs no matter how I set it up...On ground they were disc. out..in the ground they gave a good signal.........I used a Ace 250 for about an hour too..Not much depth, but it did find some coins...........The Bell tone got to me after just a little while...The DFX performed flawlessly every where we detected.
