I am just happy to get out and do some hunting. I got 4 pennies today.:detecting:
I am also happy to be retired for the 5th time and thinking retirement for good. I had the first summer off and a few weeks in between jobs since retiring 9 years ago.
El glad your getting out and digging some of that good old buried treasure.... Z

Elton i thought you were going back to your roots with one detector .
Oh well as long as your having fun HH Mike

My roots wasn't here..I borrowed a buddies detector. And tried a new model out.............

My roots may be here soon............

The watch was a surprise find.........Read good one way, not the other..and pinpointed like a big pipe or something..Dug down about 8" and out poped the very rusty watch..Up close you can see the hands on the watch covered with rust.

Hey El, Don't forget to take the back of the pocket watch off. My buddy found one a couple of weeks ago and it didn't have a name on the front. So he took off the back to see if he could find a makers name in it, and out came a 1939 Walking Liberty Half. I guess they used to put some money inside behind the back cover. Nice hunt, by the way!

One way huh? Hmmm....Something to think about.
Hey Elton? Whats that goldish thing above the coins and near the scouts slider?
Looks like gold to me. Are you holding out on me?

That brass thing on the top right looks like the blade off of a Mepps spinner (fishing lure), one of the best lures there is.
