Asking for Permission

New member
I'm a new user on this forum, when asking permission to detect on someones land what usually is the agreement between landowner and person detecting if anything is found? This is all new to me, I am currently looking for my first detector but I wanted to find out all that I could before I started my detecting hobby.

I have never heard of a person wanting something that you found after you get permission from them to hunt. Not to say that i wont ever happen but as a rule finders keepers. And also i just bought a garret ace 250 its a great detector at a great price.

I bought mine at gettysburg electronics. But you can get them alot cheaper on ebay. You also might consider a pinpointer there worth the money.

I recently got permission to hunt a church yard ( still active )
all the pastor asked ( biseds being carefull) was tha t I show them anything
historical i might find ...
