Arrrrgh Matey, a pirate's treasure is found .....

when we lived in Oregon I did tons of research on Oregon history, and the Oregon trail... To make a long story short I had compiled a list of pioneer graves on Mount Hood that have been long forgotten and presumed lost.
So I spent 3 days taking the kids to different areas where burial sites may have been and we all went looking for lost grave markers..... I be damned if the kids didn't find every one of them....( I found none)
I remember they kept telling me one of them was this big mossy rock but I just couldn't see it until they pointed out the date and name carved in it..... kids just see things different (and better) than we do as adults.
It was a really great 3 day adventure I'll remember forever.... and I hope they do as well.
