and still no Cazador.....................mybe it will be available in December...that's it it might be my Christmas ... gift. No it will be later Spring 2015 that's it !!!! LOL LOL LOL

Patience my friend.

I remember when the Sand Shark went of production for awhile because of a parts issue.

It was over a year before it came back into production.

Tesoro does not have a reputation for moving quickly.

They do, however, have a reputation for getting it right.

That second part is the most important to me.

Yeah, there's no hurry. It took 1 1/2 years to design and get the Tejon into production. Since they asked us last fall what we wanted in a new machine, one has to think that if that was the start point of the design, it's going to be quite a while before it's ready to announce as a finished product. In the meantime, get out there and swing what you've got!!

I think our patience is wearing thin...soon,if not already...most will/have bought another brand metal detector. I just hope this Cazador will be worth the wait!

I can waite I am broke,

I worry about that. Expectations about this machine have gotten so high because of all the speculation about the features it will have that no matter what it is, people will be disappointed.

I just purchased a new Tejon and Sand Shark to go along with my Stingray 2. If and when the Cazador comes out...and if it's that good...I'll add that to my Tesoro arsenal.

No rush at all, I've got all the patience in the world!-----Got tired of waiting & bought another (excellent) machine.----Naming the thing should have been the LAST move Tesoro made on the thing before they came to market with it, you can bet that's cost Tesoro PLENTY of sales.------You guys that are "waiting on"----that's great-------me, I had to get something going before I die of old age.:)

The way I see it, Tesoro has nothing to worry about. Seems like everyone on these forums will buy a detector and than get rid of it within 6 months to buy something different.

True , I've seen both recent new purchase used and longer used detectors sold in a week or less after purchase on different forums .

Well I am dissapointed that I won't be hunting with a Cazador this summer. Thinking that the new Fisher F 19 night be a good choice??? I think the Cazador should have been ready to go well before the name game.............name it......badge it.... sell it!!! So easy, but yet ................oh well ...so sad.

I'll second that at 66 years old.

I'm 101 this month , but that is in base 8 and been detecting about 10 years (base :geek:.! I am looking forward to the new Tesoro.

Whine, whine, whine. Some of the best detectors out there are Tesoro detectors. The Tejon has been around for over a decade and it's still kicking butt even against the competitors newly released models. If some of these complainers spent more time detecting they'd have less time to whine. Show us your finds.:detecting:

tabman

You got that right tabman. The funny thing is, a lot of these people think a new detector is going to suddenly produce silver and gold that they couldn't find before. The truth is, they need to do more research and find places that will produce silver and gold. If they would do that they would be more successful with most any detector they have.

Please explain what "base 8" is , it might explain to me how you can be 101 . I'm not familiar with a lot of these newer terms coming out at what seems to be an hourly basis . I come from a much simpler time , they were still minting Mercury Dimes the year I was born .
