Since I've got a digger in my hand already, I push my digger blade against the propointer then pull it towards the bottom of the pointer until the beeping stops.

The penny trick works GREAT!!!:clapping: I would be willing to bet that old man Garrett himself would be impressed. I wonder if Garretts engineers even knew about that. It seems like that if they did they could have Incorporated a simple metal slider to increase gain/sensitivity as needed. There are many times that I was frustrated when I could not pinpoint the item that I knew was in the hole but not quite close enough to to pick it up with the Pro-Pointer. Come to think of it I did notice that, at times, the Pro-Pointer worked better in my left hand:shrug:. I thought it was my imagination but now realize it must have been my wedding ring, which I do not normally wear when hunting but do when testing or making quick checks of an areas potential. This works so well that you should post the information on other forums to get the word out. It easily doubled my range as needed:beers:. GARRETT TAKE NOTICE!!!
