Anyone tried a Ikelite plug on a CZ-20 or CZ-21?

I know some are using the Ikelite plugs for Excalibur coils have any of you tried them for the CZ-20 or CZ-21? If so, are you just using CZ-7A,CZ5, CZ-7a Pro,CZ-3D accessory coils or what?

If you are asking about the Ikelite plug itself, not the coils or how to wire it etc., I can tell you have used Ikelite controls on lots of stuff for underwater, WATERPROOF, not water resistant, and never had a failure and they worked the first time just like advertised. Not complicated to install either. jim

I have an older CZ-20 that I tried to use a different type of connection (not Ikelite) and it produced false signals at the connector when bumped. The coil can be changed on the circuit board with any of the coils for the CZ models. It's not an easy task to get to the circuit board where you need to solder. There are 3 boards and you will need to remove the two that are stacked and the metal rods that secure them in order to get to the wires on the front board. The coil wire is soldered onto the front board with all of the controls are on. You will also need to use "brush on electrical tape" in order to isolate the wires. Inside the coil wire itself there are two sets of insulated wires one is red with a shield and the other is white with a shield, the shields are used like a wire for the connections. Again not easy but if you have the experience with electronics not too hard. Hope this helps.
