Anyone here rear thier own chickens ?

They have to be old.......at least 2 weeks old. You can age them outside of the refrig, after all when the chicken popped it out, she wasn't refrigerated!

We used to raise 5000 chickens annually when I was a kid. The smell of chick poop when the barn had to be cleaned was enough to kill ya!

chicken breasts don't have nipples.


They would poke a hole in the package when you freeze them.

Thats just rediculous, what works the very best, is to crack it, and crackle it by rolling in your hands, then run a little water on the egg, roll it a little more and the shell almost will fall off,.

I had a little chicken and she wouldn't lay an egg, so I poured hot water up and down her leg, well that little chicken cried and that little chicken begged......and the little chicken layed me a hard boiled egg
