anyone here ever have an e trac and not like it?

BTW...I had an E-trac and sold it......and I wish I never did sell. The best detector I've had so far.....almost 30 years of detecting. Owned most high end machines. Will get another soon.

When I switched from the Explorer to the Trac I also didn't like the angle of the handle. My hand seemed to slide up toward the control box, I just got used to it. As far as weight it feels the same as the Explorer and at the beginning of each season my arm hurts from swinging because I haven't used it for 4 months but after a few outings I'm back in business. Still wouldn't trade this detector for for anything.

Dan, darn good machine pizz poor ergonomics......Had them all and sold them ALL several times.I keep buying them. Must be insane as each time I expect them to be better from an ergonomic stand point. When I spend $1,000 on a machine, I want it to hunt with the best of them and not cause me a huge amount of fatigue after 5-6 hours. I almost bought the Explorer Dans referring to. Dan, if you decide to sell it and are reading this post, let me know before you post it in the classifieds.
Good Hunting
