Anyone have a recommendation for a well rounded miniature dog?... Or am I barking up the wrong tree here?...

She wanted a Chihuahua so I finally, reluctantly agreed. The going price for a puppy was about 4 bills and there was no way I was gonna dish out that for a pup. After several months of "putting the word out" one of my contacts told me about a lady going through a divorce and couldn't afford the first checkup at the Vets. I got her number and we picked up the last one of the litter for free. Now of course this "free" dog has cost me a fortune since but that's beside the point. I think I'd be the one most heart broken if something should happen to her. She has a ton of personality, not too yappy because we tell her to quiet down if it's not necessary and she is strictly an inside dog. However, they are very cold natured and when it gets cold down here, she disappears under her old comforter and we may not see her all day. She is housebroken and trained to use "Puppy Pads" and about 10 every night she breaks loose like a rat on acid and tears through the house like she's on the lead lap at Daytona. This will go on for about 30 to 45 minutes and then she calms back down. I figure it's because she's couped up in the house all day and need to blow off the energy. Anyway, that's what we did. We have friends that have Rat Terriers and they are terrific as well. I'd consider one of those as well. I like the shirt hair breeds because of shedding. All for now and good luck.

She is a very sweet dog and a great little watch dog. She has caught a couple of chipmunks and a couple of moles, too.

She loves to sit in "her chair" and look out the front window.

She has her own heater.

She is very attentive.

She also loves to sunbathe on the deck!

And she will steal your heart away with a glance!!
