Anyone from Connecticut?

I will be going there soon and was planning to do some teckin. I have a few questions.
What is the soil like in CT? I will be in the dayville/danielson area.
And Will the airlines let me put my detector in carry-on luggage?

OK??? lol

No one here is from CT and no one knows if they allow my Ace on a plane. It will fit into a 14" x 22" suitcase, with the bullseye PP. But the gator digger might get some attention,I think I will leave that at home.lol
Is it ok to talk to yourself on here?
Im going to CT in April, not sure when exactly, and have some private land to detect. Not my main reason for going but,,,why not? No matter what type of soil,,rock, clay, sand or stone,,I know it has been wet n flooding.

Hi, Flash

I am from CT.I also use an Ace and have not had any problems with the soil. I think i have read on other
forums that New England has mild soil but I'm not positive. As far as the plane, i have read many post of
people taking their detectors and i don't think you will have a problem.Especially if your not going to carry it
on board.Yes, it has been wet and should be easy digging in April.
