Any Word on the New G2, Relic Season is almost Here !!!

First, other than the difference in stock coils, the G-2 is configured in the Omega-style rod/hand-grip package.

Second, someone who knows made a post today that indicated there is/will be a difference.

Third, hang in there as I am sure those doing some field reviews of the entry G-2's will provide some valuable and interesting posts soon.

Thanks Monte. I've been lookiing a little and I see that the G2 uses 2 microprocessors. The GBSE just has one... ithink. Is that correct or do you know? Which post are you referring to... I will look for it. Nevermind... I found it.

I was hoping they would be close to the same but i'm not complaining if the G2 is better. I also read that some people think that the G2 is being designed more with European hunting in mind but I don't know about that. I am interested to know if the GBSE only uses one processor, that would certainly be a difference and what would the second one do?

I wish I could choose which coil would come stock on it since I have the O8K with the 10 and 11 coils... it really would be nice to be able to buy the G2 with a 5" coil. Otherwise Iam going to wind up with two 11" greek coils... guess I could sell one to a GSE user.

Thanks

J
