Any word on the "Bigfoot" coil for Racer?

Steve, Tom,
Wouldn't you want a coil you could choose how it would perform based upon your settings rather than something with a built in limitation from the get go? Just because you have not experienced the full depth potential of the folded figure 8 coil design, the fact is the potential depth of the Bigfoot is double the depth potential of the Cleansweep design. I have have owned and used multiples of both. When I needed separation, ground coverage and depth, I used the Bigfoot, When I needed separation, ground coverage and a smaller surface footprint I used the Cleansweep.

Will we all be happy with a Racer Cleansweep...Of course we will. Finally someone else listened to us. But the Bigfoot will still be the holy grail of metal detector coils just because it also includes that greater depth potential we all want whether we use it or not.

I am fairly certain I said I would prefer a Bigfoot style figure 8 winding. I just do not underestimate how hard it is to produce them. Basically you need a dedicated coil expert to custom build them one at a time by hand. The Cleansweep design is much easier to produce. Insisting on nothing but a figure 8 winding may get just that - nothing.

some coil hey never used one but they sound good passed on up couple years back for cheap, maybe it had something wrong with it.

yeah maybe DD is as good as it gets, I know the * must have been a type of concentric coil what about straight out concentric will that work ? I have no idea

I know I like the Tesoro 4 pin DD one which is hard to get hold of even now.

Could also name it the "HOLY MAKRO" lol.
