Any old timers out there?

I remember buying 32 cent a gal gasoline. When you could leave your doors unlocked all the time. When if you had work to do around the house some neighbor would help you. Everything in post #1. If you really messed you getting your a$$ spanked and not calling 911 to report your parent-teacher-guardian. I remember when the world was a better place. You could buy your lunch, pop, and a lunch cake for 65 cents. Kids played with toy guns everywhere and no one gave it a thought.... and kids played.

Yeah hate to admit being old....not that old though...62...I can remember gas at 25 cents. No locked doors, fights settled with fists, the board of education was a paddle for a few smacks when caught fighting on school grounds, Superman comics 12 cents.... I could go on, but my hunt and peck finger is getting cramped!
