Any ideas on these items?

I found all these items in the same hole while metal detecting except the three ringer. I’m curious about the two brass items and the round iron. I need to learn an easy way to get the rust off my iron items but until then this is what I’ve got. Thanks for looking.

The one piece of iron looks like a barrel band with sling attachment off a rifle.

I agree with Pittman on the iron piece. He’s got a good eye. Nice finds.

I agree with 2 Much Trash! And the pieces to the left and below the 3 ringer look like camp lead to me.

Nice mix of finds there. Many of us use the electrolysis method to remove rust from relics . Check out youtube -electrolysis rust removal videos ..HH

I’ve actually looked at those videos. Going to try it as soon as I can.

Awesome! I bet they all came from the same musket. I'd hit that spot slow and methodically, and dig all the iron. You may have a musket by the time you're finished.

Found this as well near by. Someone mentioned that it could be a door lock. There wasn’t any homes in the area so I figured I would hang onto it. Looks like a trigger plate after some research.
