Yep I agree. Xterra Pro awesome machine! Lmao I bought the 900 just to have headphones for my Xterra pro. It's a coin magnet with the smaller coils. & it's no slouch with them small coils.Haven’t seen the v10 yet ,was looking and came across the 6x8 coils on eBay, just ordered that one. Got my ML85 headphones yesterday.. I like the xterra pro,I’m not a tweaker and most machines that are easy to run I always seem to do better with.
I watched a video on the manicore, was curious. Wayyy too much radio checkin goin on with that machine for me, I like easy. Holy smokes I was thinking, why would anyone do that to theirselves, all that tweaking, menus, cross menus etc. All that noise and a social security check or two in hopes of finding a few coins in some wore out sites I’m guessing... Simple is best for me, and I’ll find new sites to find more coins.Yep I agree. Xterra Pro awesome machine! Lmao I bought the 900 just to have headphones for my Xterra pro. I'm not going to lie, I want a Manticore so i myself can see what it's like. Now I seen a vid of the Manticore vs the Xterra Pro on the beach. The Xterra Pro missed 1 target I believe over the Manticore.I watched a video on the manicore, was curious. Wayyy too much radio checkin goin on with that machine for me, I like easy. Minelab told emailed me saying last week in September, they should be available. How many of you have emailed Minelab directly to voice your desires?
I remember when us old Xterra users were desperate for more coils, specifically 3kHz coils, and we bombarded Minelab with emails. It didn't really take that long before they authorized Coiltek to develop the 6" 3kHz Digger, as well as the 15" WOT coils, which Minelab later began inhouse production of.
The point is that they listened and responded to our blitz. If we had not done what we did and just bellyached on message boards, it would have never happened.
Starting to look doubtful. I thought I had found one online, and the website said only 3 left. I called them just to be sure, and was told they didn't have any. Long story short, they told me I was looking at the V10 for the Vanquish, but I know the difference between V10 and V10X. They are a big time dealer, and basically called me a liar about what I saw, and quickly changed the website. So I would be surprised if we see any V10X coils any time soon...Minelab told emailed me saying last week in September, they should be available.
Coil cable should be routed up and over the shaft at the coil end to prevent stressing the coil cable to coil connection when the coil is moved up against the shaft. Less stress if cable is run over rather then under the shaft.Got my v8 coil today, very nice on the xterra.
