Any collectors of old bottles on this forum? I found an old bottle

at the ocean today...It is embossed on the heel : A B Co.

My research taught me that this is American Bottle Company 1905 - 1917.

I see that the embossing is doubled ..and I would like to know the significance ( if any ) of this double embossing.. ..is this an error in embossing, or was this an acceptable type of embossing on old bottles?

thanks for any info anyone can offer to me.

Here's pics of the bottle...it had barnacles on it when I recovered it at low tide...I'm trying to clean it now...it does have scratches on it from being swished around in the ocean

.... the bottom part of the bottle and squint one eye tightly closed while pulling both lids wide open on your other eye .... do you see the same thing I'm seeing?
