I've been using the DFX for years and have been busy at work and building a house but I realized it was time. Too much time spent at work and at home working. I needed another reason to get back out there.

It's been a long time since I've been out. Feels good to be back (soon). Hopefully have some story finds in a few weeks!

Heard great things about the V3I. Hopefully go a little deeper than the DFX.

Question: Is the stock coil good enough or will I be wanting a new coil eventually?

Coils ??? That depends on you and your hunting. You will need the size coils you used with the DFX.
 
The 10" DD coil will be suffice for your needs. If your prospecting you may want to go to a smaller coil
 
Congrats on the new detector. When i get mine Tuesday i will be bringing it to work Thursday to show a couple people and to study it.
