Another first

I went snooping yesterday in an early field that's been picked over pretty good. Just walking along and enjoying the solitude, swinging the coil. I get a clear signal and see a faded silver coin right on the surface. Ends up being a fairly worn but still legible one reale Spanish coin. They pop up from time to time around here but they've eluded me up until yesterday. An 1810 or 1816........not sure which ? Either way, it gets me in the "Spanish" club.:) Never gets old, this hobby, does it ??

... who spends the time and energy to dig the trash and learn their machine to find the good stuff you and others are finding. Good job Jim.

It's fun finding stuff with a new detector because it tends to make you want to dig more than you might have dug with your old tried and true detector that you thought you knew so well.
