Had a nasty north wind blowing this morning with the temps in the mid 20's when I started out. After the first 20 minutes I began to wonder if I was sane. Went back to my vehicle to get a warmer pair of gloves and re-started hunting. Pretty quickly hit a wheat cent followed about five minutes later with a scratchy, multi tones and bouncy signal, with some readings peaking up into the upper 80's. Dug it and flipped over a clod of sod and the 1st picture is what was down in the bottom of the hole. A 36d Walker half with a nice chunk of slaw. About that time one of my hunting buddies showed up and he was wondering how that target had never been dug. A lot of coils over the year's have been over that area. Chris had found a nice C S spur about 20 yards away last year there. Anyway, except for 4 more wheats, some dimes, Memorials, modern lead and the one curio, that was the hunt for me. The wheats were all 40's and 50's. HH jim tn

But maybe it won't be long.Good job Jim.
