Analysis of a one way signal?

The best way to know is dig a few of those one way signals. I usually don’t dig one way signals. If I turn 90 degrees and can’t get a repeatable signal, I move on.The D2 is very telling. Listen carefully to all your audio sounds. If you hear iron buzz coming off of a target, it is likely deep iron . I learned that using F CZs . HH Tony
 
It was a good steel item from a civil war pole axe ,,I dug the hole to 9inches and used the nm pulsedive to locate the item and dug down another 6 inches to get it out..not bad condition considering buried for 400 hrs..rust must have been a problem on weapons then
 
There is no way to know if any one way or one direction signal is good it's about averages and your willingness to dig. The more you use your detector the better your guess may be but still no guarantees. It depends on how much you feel like or want to dig. The more iffy signals you dig the more good masked and and deep targets but the more trash you'll get. You also need to consider your time and health. Also consider the location and likelihood of good finds. The same goes for the different detectors. Some will be better at rejecting trash but will also miss good finds the others will signal on.
