The door was a 60 foot wide motorized self storing glass door that was made of 42" folding glass panels. It opened up the whole wall of his bar/intertainment room out to the patio where the waterfall and pool are located. The idea was to make the interior blend into the exterior so the inside and outside was one large area. The wall it was in was bearing for a large part of the roof and the door header was a steel I-beam that would make most bridges look like weak sticks. He rarely opens it up though. Imagine a 60 foot opening when the flies and skeeters are out, or the Idaho winter is going on. Sure is a cool idea though. Money was no object on that home as the homeowner owns a very large Pizza chain that is nation-wide and quite profitable. He is also one heck of a nice fella and we stay in contact and I do a lot of work for him on his many other homes and properties. DC
