Proof again that research, a lot of time in the field and a ton of door knocking - can turned into a big pile of great finds by the end of the year !

I averaged around 20 hours of hunt time a week. I hunted mostly private yards, and in early spring and late fall I hunted farm fields where old houses used to sit. I had many, many hunts with NO silver, so I doubt I even averaged 1 silver per hunt.

What an exceptional year you have had!! I am exstatic over my 122 silver coins, but your 164 is awesome! A hunting buddy of mine was in the northeast for Christmas and one of the guys he hunted with had over 550 silver coins! I can only dream...
