All of my Silver and jewelry finds for the 2012 season

Well this is all my sterling, and silver coins for the year. I did not beat last year or even come close to it, but I feel it was a good season.

I ended up with 7 seated coins, 6 dimes and one 1854 seated half dime, my first one in 5 yrs of detecting, so that is a real highlight for my 2012 season. Oldest seated was 1838 found in a farm field. I got some nice barbers, several SLQ's including a semi key 1920-D and a blazing 1929.

Got 4 halves for the year, 3 walkers and one barber, as for other dimes, I got almost twice the mercs as I got rosies which is a good thing. I got 12 sterling rings, 3 sterling thimbles, sterling pocket knife, The large indian ring is my favorite jewelry find this year. Hope I didn't go overboard on pictures, and hope you enjoy viewing them!!!!

I appreciate the kind words, BUT there are MANY guys out there way better than me! I seen guys with 300, 400 and even 500 silver this yr alone!

Awesome! Your silver counts are very impressive!

Wow - that is an inspiration! I have learned a bunch this year from many people on this forum and you in particular. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and your pictures!

Now that's Amazing! What a Beautiful sight to see all those silver coins in one big ole pile! What is your final total silver coins for 2012? Did you keep up with how many Wheats you got too? Congrats with your first half dime and I hope your luck continues in 2013!

164 silver coins and 634 wheats, gave me a ratio of 1 silver to every 3.87 wheats.

Man that is an insane amount coins! Do you keep up with the hours you put into your hunts? Total hours for the year? Did you have one or two sites that produced a larger amount of silver than others? And what do you think your average silver count was per hunt? Thanks!

I'm very happy for you.
You must have some awesome sites to hunt.

majority of the yr I knock doors and hunt private yards, early spring and late fall I hunt farm fields. A lot of research, hours of overlaying maps, finding owners, acquiring permission etc.....a lot of work went into these finds.
