Ironsight, you have a firm grasp of the profound! I really enjoy your posts. It is a fact that there are more coins in the ground than there are in circulation today. So, factor in how many coins are bagged in banks, sitting in cash registers, in piggy banks, in peoples' pockets, etc. etc.........that amounts to a LOT of coins in the ground. It is just a matter of getting your coil over them and, like you said, know your detector intimately and learn it's language. Learn it well enough that you can tell when it is lying to you and you are well on your way to some amazing digs! (in reality, it never really lies to you, but, it can 'see' things differently, i.e. a beaver tail and a nickel)
